name your biggest bass you have ever caught and lets see who has caught the biggest bass!!!emoFish emoFish

O.K. if you insist. I'll name him Fred...... hes staring at me right now from the wall, 9.25 pounds, Gville 1995 on a 1/2 oz. Rattletrap in the Lake Fork color.

On the wall.......8 lb 2oz largemouth

                      5lb 15oz smallmouth

10 lb hybred stripper (for TT)

I have caught larger but turned them back to swim again and at the time did not have weighing scales with me.

Sadly I have no big bass to report, nor any strippers ... about the only thing I can brag about is I've caught fish, catfish, bass, crappie, shellies, gar, etc. ... nothing "Hall of Fame" worthy .. and that's okay with me. :) I once caught a flounder!!! But he too was little. :(

Thanks for the ugly reminder of my spelling issues FA!!! emoLaugh

I caught my biggest largemouth this year at Guntersville 7.0 in a BFL as a co-angler on a Lucky Craft Stacy King suspending crankbait. I still got beat for big fish by almost 2 lbs. But it sure was exciting taking to the scale with a big crowd watching.

I can't resist. My biggest ever was a 6 lb. 4 oz. at Guntersville on a practice day and then I caught a 5 lber. on the first day of the Tx. My biggest smallmouth is 4 lb. 3 oz. on Nickajack. Nowhere near some of the great catches you guys are reporting, but pretty exciting for me. I'm impressed with all of your catches! Way to go CFF!!!

Largemouth: 7.75lb, Chickamauga on a T-rig worm in Possum Creek
Smallmouth: 6.5lb, Chickamauga on a Poe's 300 off a hump

Of course, like most everyone else, I've had several larger that decided not to make it to the boat.

All were released.

I've got to add my smallmouth... I had a pair of 6-pounders from Dale Hollow. mainly impressive because I caught 'em about 5 minutes apart (on float & fly). I've NEVER caught a spotted bass worth bragging about. Well, maybe I have but it "decided not to make it to the boat."
