Never had a chance to get on the water alone .... with me and Tyler in there, we were running a comfortable 60 with the plate livewell full (of Tyler's fish ... lol). We didn't get to do as much tuning as I would have liked due to wind and waves. James has my motor now and hopefully we'll be putting it back on in a couple of weeks and start breaking it in. Then we'll dial it in emoTongue
I've got a 4 blade prop ... don't even know the specs on it emoScratch The renegade 24 is what Stratos said was a 65mph prop.
I will post what we found. The engine has some scratches in the cylinder deep enough to hang a fingernail in it. He has been running sea foam and it was eating the carbon, but we have some physical damage. Hone and rings will take care of it.
Block has Ported and passages beveled. Will post pics when done. Trying to find the plugs to fill in the idle reliefs. Having to wait on the jets. Will be going thursday or friday then up to Taz!
I just got home this morning. Jet lag bad and worn out. Was a busy trip, but well worth it I'm off the rest of the week and can cruise up there when you get her ready. Can't wait to get it broke in
OH yeah!! That jet lag stuff. I remember when I lived in germany and came back home to visit I was way out of wack!!!!!!! Takes a few to get used to it.
