I would still like to believe the CBA tournament is about having a good time on the water and catching fish. My point the first year we had the rig record weights February if I remember correctly 5 or 6 bags over 30 that's my idea of fun when Damon is loosing his voice announcing all the big sacks! That's good stuff and our state law states the rig rule very clearly use it as it is allowed. So my point we had record weights so let's ban it or make some CBA house rig rule that needs a Harvard Graduate to build! Then we talk about having to police the rig because someone might be using an illegal rig that's garbage. Fish the rig as the state of TN allows pretty simple. Last I respect the deer hunters but we just had record breaking classic weights so let's go back to October so most likely catches will be low! Damon most likely won't be screaming about a 30 pound sack on day one or two! Very simple compare 2014 and 2015 classics. Ok I'm finished now but it seems like when we break records for the tournament lets see how we can change the rules or schedule to prohibit that from possibly happening again!

Show up , pay your money , go fishing , weigh them in and go home. It's that simple. To be the best, you have to beat the best. No matter what.

alternate the classic every other year from oct to nov and the deer hunters will be mad once every two years
or do like BASS and have it in march or is that turkey season emoScratch
off limits is a toss up for me
dont care about the rig either way...there's other ways to catch big fish
stagger night tourney starts and end times per boat #...2000 to 2100 in at 0400 to 0500 or so
12 hours of fishing plus weigh-in is rough i dont care who you are
keep the DNF x 2...Not everyone can fish them all and i'd rather not fish april or sept

I remember when this vote was taken, but during the weigh in's I've only heard complaints about them being to long. I think it should be looked at again and only the people that fish the night tournaments should be polled on the tournament hours. Me personnally, 12 hours is to long, 30 min. safe light on each end would be both safe and a night tournament.

This is another reason we should follow the state of TN Rig Rule. The link above looks like a spinnerbait but there are all kinds of baits that are manufactured and resembles some form of a rig. My point with so many questionable baits and all of us are capable of building some form of legal bait why put ourselves in the position to contact an officer for a legal bait or approval of a homemade bait? Honestly if I build a homemade bait that fits the rule package why show it to anyone including an officer! There are several reasons I am for the rig which this is one example. The other reason I like the rig it allows another fishing pattern that keeps us spread out a little more. If we could have used the rig for example in the 2015 classic there would have been another bait pattern that could have kept 5 or 6 boats out of the same patch grass. One or two of those guys might have elected to fish a different pattern that involved the rig.

if you change the pay, I think you will lose teams bc the guys who feel they can't make the top ten every week may feel like they can at least pull out a top 20. I don't believe in donating to the top ten every week. I think if anything you should, for example, lower pay in places 15-20 and make the pay extend to 25 so at least you could get your entry fee back. That's just an example, but something to think about. It would sound better when pulling in new teams that may not have the money to fish them all. At least they would get their entry fees back if they are top 25 or so. This is not a FLW or BASS trail, its a chick community trail and I personally enjoy weigh ins just as much as I do fishing them, don't run people off! haha

What do you guys think about having the Classic in mid February 2 weeks before the 1st tournament of the season? We aren't doing this in the 2016 season... I am just curious of yall's opinion on it.

I think having it in the fall right after the season is a better idea. You are in the groove of having a CBA every month and every tournament is working up to the classic I don't think i'd like taking a few months off then fishing the biggest one of the year. I don't see how the Elite series guys do that haha. But idk thats just my opinion I'm sure there will be a lot of mixed opinions on that one.

javelin379 - 11/13/2015 6:09 PM Only thing I'd change is no drops. You should be accounted for all points to show who the best finishers were. Look at point standings before drops. Does it really show who the best team was?
agreed no drops! Look at the points before and after the drops! All of the drop tower is a crutch guys used to can't fish certain times of the year!!! The CBA does not end up with the best fisherman at the top when it's all said and done
