I hear ya but if you want to just take peak at it for the heck of it hes put it on Craig's list no time is a good time to be broke down

GET A TUNDRA!!!! I love my tundra crewmax! 5 people comfortably, ridiculous power! 19-20 highway w/o towing, reliable, smooth, I could go on, but the whole tundra bass boat advertising thing sold me! I dont see the need to ever consider another truck!

FYI - I'm heading to Atlanta to get a 1996 Subaru. My friend says they're amazing and will tow really well. If you disagree strongly, please post now or forever scoff at me on these boards. I'll see your comments as I'm driving. Thanks!

I like it, but the high miles make me nervous. I realize that today's vehicles can go forever, but still makes me a tad nervous. Thanks though!

i have a old dodge Dakota that has 2 hundred and 3 thousand on it and i have pulled my old venture with it a lot.dont be afraid of that truck.they are tough.

I have to agree with Derek81, Get a pickup with the extra cab(Crew Cab) if you can. I have a Dodge Crew Cab and love the room it gives me. Seats 6 with room to spare.

Forgot to update. Wound up getting a 2000 Dakota with 111k miles. Knew it needed work, but it's needed more than expected. Hoping to finish everything needed today. Hoping... Hahaha

And then back to the water!

my 2006 dodge Dakota has pulled everything imaginable with no problems and they have 4 door model. you can normally find them cheaper than ford or chevys also.

don't know if this post is too old or not but I pull my 18ft boat with my 99 jeep Cherokee, can hold 5 people but is tight. I have the 4.0 I6 it is at 156,000 and other than regular maintenance I have never had a problem towing(original transmission too!)I also only have 2 wheel drive and don't have problems getting in and out of ramps since its an suv and the weight goes to the back tires when on a slope.
