Right wing scare tactic, he has spoken against US policy against Arabs but only generic terms. Just like some on here have criticized past and current administration.minner - 8/19/2010 1:49 PM
I guess it's all a coincidence that the Mosque is:
1) Headed by a known terrorist sympathizer.
Can you reference anything to state this as such? Only thing I am seeing is an old mosque (which is now a Catholic Church) in Cordoba, Spain. Cordoba also is unit of money in Nicaragua and a car made by Chrysler. I have yet to see any reference to a phoenix type story.2.) "Cordoba" means to conquer (and rebuild)
A block and half away, with buildings in between so not with in direct view from any portion of ground zero, in an existing building (old Burlington Coat factory on Park ave).3.) Across the street from Ground Zero
Beck and Geller both have promoted this falsehood: http://mediamatters.org/research/2010081000114.) Scheduled to open on 9/11
Until laws are broken, they (as citizens) have First Amendment rights. Re-read Davo's post, he gets it.cheez - 8/19/2010 9:29 AM

I tell you what I will spare a long reply if you promise to do a little research on the history of Cordoba, Spain. In short Muslims slaughtered the Jews and Christians, and rebuilt a mosque on top of a burned down church. Can you reference anything to state this as such? I block isn’t that far, and as a matter of fact if it were built there at 52 Park Place it’d 568 feet from ground zero. I highly doubt you’d hail a cab to get that far, and most likely the new mosque would set tall enough to look over ground zero.A block and half away, with buildings in between so not with in direct view from any portion of ground zero, in an existing building (old Burlington Coat factory on Park ave).

Falsehood or not, even major liberal media sources have claimed the same thing:Beck and Geller both have promoted this falsehood: http://mediamatters.org/research/201008100011

Here is the best way to describe what I think about these people.
I'm not alone and we are not just bigotted conservatives either.

While I certainly see where you trying to go here, I dont recall those who belong to that group of extremists trying to build a place of worship two blocks from the old Murrow building site. BIG difference. </p>

Problem has been solved with the NY Mosque issue. Outcaster has donated some of his land, next to his house to build the Mosque, it will be called the " TN Outcaster Mosque for Muslims ". Not to many Muslims here , but they are very appreciative of Outcaster's Liberal donation to their cause..... emoLaugh
This will bring more jobs to Tn in the near future and it will also bring some Muslims here, too. emoSmile

Outcaster, there is a difference between standing up for other, then wanting to control everything in your power. Remember that I grew up in a household with a conservative father and a very liberal mother and I will tell you that my mom always had to control everything. That's the reason I left at the age of 18 and moved on with my life. I love my mom dearly, but I just hate her controlling ass and I do mean ass. She was a school teacher for over 35 years with an over bearing attitude, which drove some of my friends away. Still today she has not changed a bit and still trying to tell me what to do even though I am over 40 years old. Another point , she says that Obama can't do no wrong and my dad said that she is full of _ _ it, why are they still together, god only knows, because I surely don't. I guess opposite attract.
By the way, you know that I'm only joking around with you. I do understand both sides and their view points. Hell I grew up with both parties! That's the reason I will always be an Independent, that way I can always choose which way to go : Rep or Dem. and no ties to one party. Sometimes I make my Dad happy, others times my Mom. It has always kept me out of trouble, at least for now.
