<font size="2">To those that are in the mind-set it should be allowed to happen, and you know who you are. Let me remind you of whose <u>side your on</u> here.

Yesterday (8/17/2010) a 19 and 25yr old couple were stoned to death in public by 200 men, by-standers and even their OWN relatives.....yes, all Muslims. Their crimes?, refusing to engage in marriages to relatives that were pre-arranged for them. The couple, 25-year-old Khayyam and 19-year-old Siddiqa ran away. Both were lured back home by relatives who promised them that permission would be granted for them to marry. It was a ruse. Once back, they were subjected to Afghan Islamic justice, Taliban-style and were stoned to death. Siddiqa was forced to wear her burqa to her execution.

This was called an honor killing folks..... the KKK thought hanging blacks from trees was honorable as well. So by the thinking of some, if the Klan wanted to build a shrine to whatever it is they pray to, at the Lorain Motel, you would be for that as well right? Supporting, no let me rephrase, by NOT objecting to this mosque, you agree with their logic. It ALL disgusts me, and some of yall support their rights to integrate Islam into this country by skewing the intent of Constitutional law.

Think I'm off base with my comparison, think again. Just as Klansmen hated non-whites, Muslims HATE Westerners, we are all infidels, and deserve death. Hell, they even kill their own if they associate with our evil ways. </font>

<font size="2">"Early in 2008, Amina and Sarah Said were also lured home by their mother, Tissy, and honor murdered by their father Yasir. Their crime? They had non-Muslim friends, non-Muslim boyfriends, and after years of abuse, had finally run away. Like Siddiqa in Afghanistan, the Said sisters had already been promised to Egyptian men, friends or relatives of their father"

"At the end of 2007, in Toronto, Aqsa Parvez was lured home by her mother and then honor murdered by her father and brother. Her crime? Becoming too western, not wearing hijab."</font>

<font size="2">
</font><font size="2">In the last thirty years, the Afghan and Pakistani Taliban, the Turks, the Saudis, the Iranians, and the Egyptians have all engaged in the following atrocities for, (from our western point of view), the most minor of offenses: stonings, beheadings, hangings, burying young girls alive, amputations, nose and ear chopping, floggings, acid thrown in the faces of young girls for improper veiling. They claim they are doing so in the name of Islam.

If they are a compasionate people like they cliam, they will realize how offensive this is, no its not illegal, but it doesnt belong anywhere near ground Zero.

"Prophet make war on the unbelievers and the hypocrites and deal rigorously with them. Hell shall be their home." (Surah 9:73)

"If you fear treachery from any of your allies, you may fairly retaliate by breaking off your treaty with them." (Surah 9:12)

"Believers, take neither Jews nor Christians for your friends." (Surah 5:51)

"Seek out your enemies relentlessly." (Surah 4:104)

"Men take authority over women... As for those who are disobedient, admonish them and send them to beds apart and beat them." (Surah 4:34)

Compassion is not even in their language.! And they call us raciest. They hate just for the sole purpose of hating. The Americans that are supporting them are slapping their fellow Americans in the face.

I lied... I'm back. What amazes me most is the Hate and Venom spewed toward fellow Americans on this forum and others. Most of the hatred is coming from those professing Christianity and Salvation. Truly saddening. You don't deserve the Religious freedoms so many have fought and died for.

Danny there is no one on here professing that Christianity is deeming them to hate Islam. Hell man look for yourself they tell any person this is the reason to hate us. Do you think that any Christean one permit any atrocities Like this to happen in the name of religion. Get a life man and wake up. These people are evil pure and simple.
If they build the Mosque them maybe some American will learn how to fly a plane also in the name of the fallen one that died at ground Zero.

I am curious if your referring to my post Danny, or at least grouping it in with the hate and venom your talking about? I have a hard time understanding what your seeing if so. Yes, I 100% hate Muslim extremists that kill innocent folks, and those that force sharia law upon others. </p>

So have you predetermined that the mosque being proposed is extremist and not moderate?

So can you Bfish tell us how to tell the difference?

I wonder if we are suppose to wait until they bomb about fifty or sixty different cities before we decide on it.

Willard I would bet my last dollar that these folks who are for them building this mosque would still think it's ok.

Personally, I oppose them building a Mosque or community center there. However, legally, they do have that right. Would most people like it, no. Would most people want it there, no. Is it in poor taste, definitely. Unfortunately, just because we don't like something, doesn't make us totally right. They just shouldn't. Someone had said earlier about a hypothetical ex wife moving next door with her new husband. Is it low class and sucky, you bet, but it would still be their right to buy there. No one is questioning the legality of them building there, it's just that they shouldn't.

I actually believe some folks around here think it is a good thing.

Why else do they want to build it ONLY in that location !?

I guess it's all a coincidence that the Mosque is:
1) Headed by a known terrorist sympathizer.
2.) "Cordoba" means to conquer (and rebuild)
3.) Across the street from Ground Zero
4.) Scheduled to open on 9/11

And for what it's worth if it weren't for Christians there WOULD BE NO freedom of religion. And that goes for Muslim beliefs and based on some of the comments of the non-belivers on this thread.
