Do they make 5.0 or 5'6" ultralight or light action rods? I prefer crappie fishing rods. emoBigsmile emoGeezer

I am here now, and will leave for TN Friday afternoon, back in Ooltewah on Sat. I will also be coming back up here in 2-3 weeks on next trip( to start on winterizing lol)

I may have something for you the next trip up. I have some Veritas rods I need to sell first. Don't want the boss to get too angry.

Hi Drumking. They do make UL rods. I have a Premier 2 piece 7'UL that I love for crappie/panfish. The premier does come from 4.6 to 7' in UL action. The triumph has a 5 and a 5.6 in UL action. They also have a panfish series... PM me your number and when I go back up to Park Falls this week I will check out the B and C stock for ultralights and can call you from there and let you know what they have.
Thanks
Jim

You can go here and see the series of rods and the lengths and actions. Can get a lot of them on B stock, it rotates daily

Hi Slick, didn't get it yet but sometimes I have PMs that sit for hours and even days before they go out. I will look for it or give me a call tormorrow at 401-218-8116

Made the last trip to the rod shop today. I ended up with 12 rods, retail about 2100-2200, for about 1000. Most rods were B stock. Problem with C stock you almost have to hold it as an inch or two broken off is ok for one guy and not the next. The biggest deals are on casting stuff, especially the high dollar stuff like lengend xtremes, over the spinning stuff(can still get great deals on B stock spinning tho) and the reason is because St Croix sells more spinning than casting, especially up north, by 5 to 1. Didn't know that but was a bit surprised. Lots of walleye dudes I guess...

Sorry couldn't accommodate everyone, but got most that was asked for. Only issues were with C stock, you either have to take my word for them or hold them yourself. Any of the B stock you can go to St Croix dealer and hold it, get the model number and 95% they can get it in B stock at some point.

I will be home this weekend to TN so anyone that I talked to I will contact you and you can arrange to meet me. Sooner the better :)

Will be coming back up in a couple weeks.
Jim

Heading back to my place in the northwoods tomorrow night or Thurs. I will be able to get to the factory a couple times this trip. If anyone wants B stock rods, just need the model #. They are 30-70% off. They have most everything in B stock. They had a great deal last trip on Legend Extreme, Elite and Tournament casting rods, B stock, 150 each or 2 for 250. These are 240-380 dollar rods each. You can even call the factory(715-762-3226) and ask about particular models in B stock. They will not ship these anywhere, period. But you can call them, or have me do it, and they will pull rods and put aside for me. They do have Cs for 30-50 but you will have to trust my judgement when picking them, if you tell me what you want to use it for. PM me, or call 401-218-8116I brought a dozen rods back for guys last trip and I think everyone was happy with them. Most of the blemishes on the xtremes, for example, were a single chip in the finish the size of a pea, or small tiny scratch, etc..

The rods you see on the receipt above for 60 was actually 2 Mojo bass casting rods, C stock.

The model you are looking for the MBS70MF is 77
