The "minimum standards" to which you alluded, included mandatory maternity care clauses in all issued policies, as well as mandatory children's health care clauses. I'm a 61 year-old male whose with a 31 year-old son who is "grown-up" and on his own. Why do I have to pay premiums for that? A policy that covers major medical, vision, and dental without those "minimum standards" is "junk"? And the leading adjective of the ACA is a joke also. Do the math. And 7 million miraculously sign-up just in time to beat the deadline? AYSM???? REALLY???

The bill itself was over 1000 pages long, published and delivered to the Congress just days(?) prior to the vote, and the then Speaker of the House herself says "we have to pass it to find out what's in it"?????? AYSM????

Folks who refuse to believe that this administration is above lying, coercion, and bullying to get its programs initiated are the same one's who when told from whence babies come said, "Huh-uh, my Mom and Daddy wouldn't do that". emoBang

Get ready to be enlightened: 1st point stock marget is artificially high. Its another buble just created by government like the real estate bubble that crashed the marget in 2008. Quantitative easing andartificially low interest rates have inflated market values. Now the easing is slowly being reduced but the interest rates have0 been held constant. What most dont realize while this has been good in for the short runespecially for the wealthy we still havent taken our medicine. My degree is in economics and within economics there are things called economic law. So whenu artificially affect the economy by printing, borrowing, or inflating money there will be a reaction. Now u can delay the negatives from happening but they will eventually catchup. So while the Fed has been trying to control the downturn they have only delayed the recovery. I fear they may devalue the dollar so much that it causes a world wide depression. Next unemployment is calculating low right now because millions of people have decided to leave the work force. Wages are stagnant making the opportunity costs too great to work. Also fuel pricesare about 45% higher than they where under the last administration making those opportunity cost even higher. In fact we now have the smallest labor force since before WWII. GM by the way never paid the taxpayers back fully they still owe 10 billion in change but the CEO says theyre not gonna cough that up and the administration is giving them a pass. Wish I could get a 10 billion loan without having to pay it back!!

Now to Benghazi: Sept 11 we have another attack this time onour Benghazi consulate Americans killed and dragged through the street. Terrible.. The administration had just released some new talking points about how they had taken out bin laden and terrorism in general was on the run. Oh by the way we were in the middle of a presidential campaign. Then we get the shit sandwich but nobody takes a bite. Oh no we send poor ms rice out to cover for us on the Sunday shows. We were told it was a protest all stemming from some u tube video? So the feds arrest and jail thepoor sob that made thevideo. And most ofthe media buys the lie hook lineandsinker. Then we find outthe state department requested Talking point changes mere hours after the attack. Gen Petraeus reviewed the talking points and said he wasnt comfortable with the changes? Specifically the reference to the video? Now Mitt Romney had already been chastised by the administration for speaking out about the attack. He was in their opinion politicizing the event. So weeks go by Obama won't call it ta terrorist attack and Hillary wont either. Congress istrying to subpoena Hillary but she has a fall with a head injury and has to delay and delay. Finally some time in Nov the pressure is just too much and the administration admits terror. But wait guess what the election is over by now. Dang that sure is a coincidence? Ill give him this politcally he may even be slicker than old Willy Clinton! But the real tragedy is that Americans died and the president only cared enough to use their deaths for a political lie! Damn what a good man!!

I really dont think u want to talk about presidential pardons or ill bring up Mark Rich the biggest tax evader in us history at the time Clinton pardoned him for a couple million for his library.

Looks like others got ya on those supposedly junk healthcare policies. Now tell me again why 50 yr old single male needs to pay for maternity care? I really wish these were laughing matters but the fate of our country is hanging in the balance. My only hope is during the next cycle citizens will vote for Freedom instead of perceived free stuff!

The thing about folks who buy into all of these "spins" given by the current admin., is that they keep telling themselves that it *couldn't* be that way; and we all know, keep telling yourself something, and you'll end up accepting it as the truth.

Just think; If we still only had NBC, CBS, & ABC we would believe that stupid SOB who made the video caused the attack that killed those 5 Americans. And that the ACA was to coolest thing since pockets on a T-shirt. That the Zimmerman (what an idiot)/Martin thing was racial, but the Christianson/Newsome thing in Knoxville wasn't?

And they call conservatives "sheeple". Go Figure!

How about "Fast & Furious"? Many times over, BATF agents were poised to arrest the "Straw" buyers and confiscate the weapons, but were told to "let them walk" by their superiors. It wasn't until BP Agent Brian Terry was killed and the story broke that the BATF began acting. The agent who finally broke the story was chastised and quarrantined away from other agents in his office.

The Current Administration...... the real "No Spin Zone"!! LOL

I won't try to spin it at all. All wrongdoers need to lose their jobs. I do tend to look at thing from a historical prospective. I just find it ironic when the Obama administration steps out of bounds, conservatives pound the hell out of it and claim......"this is a corrupt administration", while ignoring scandals of their own involving much egregious offenses. Need I remind you of Lewis Libby, Scott Bloch, Alphonso Jackson, Karl Rove, "Lawyergate" Lets take it even further..... During the 8 year Presidency of the beloved Ronald Reagan, he had 138 administration officials convicted, indicted or officially investigated. (The worst is US Presidential history). I know what you're thinking........ "there you go again.... Blame it on Bush"... I don't blame Bush for Obama's mistakes and screw ups........... I do however use Bush... and Reagan to point out your hypocrisy of pounding this IRS and Benghazi thing like it's the second coming of Watergate.

Are you seriously, with a straight face have me believe the Benghazi incident is worse than Reagan's bungling of 241 marines lost in Beirut in 1983? A bungled situation does not mean it's a scandal or coverup. You might be too young to remember.

You are correct in writing that a "bungled situation" does not indicate a scandal or a cover-up. However, intentionally lying to mis-direct the focus of an investigation can qualify as a cover-up. Your repeated reference to Watergate would certainly be useful as an analogy. The idiots hired by the Nixon folks "bungled" their assignment and got caught. Then the Nixon staffers huddled up and tried to *cover-up* their involvement, which created the "Watergate Scandal" and resulted in jail sentences for staffers and resignation by Nixon. Fast forward to the recent past (Benghazi); sound familiar?? BTW, if you remember Watergate, then you'll remember the hearings, and guess who led the investigation on their own party?? Senator Howard Baker, Republican from Tennessee, and his chief counsel was none other than Fred D. Thompson, who later became, you guessed it, Republican Senator from Tennessee.

What difference it makes is that no one died as a direct result of the break-in at Watergate. Not so in Benghazi, not so in the Fast & Furious. And the administration was fully aware of the risks involved in their *lack of action* in both cases. And since when are chemical weapons not weapons of mass destruction? Can you say Syria? The NY Times was all over Saddam for use of ChemWeps in his bid for ethnic cleansing against his own people. emoBang

For weeks the administration blamed it on a video to drive a narrative that terrorism and A.Q. where defeated and on the run!!!!!
