Aquatic Herbicide spraying at Harrison Bay

Just to make it clear......there is a way to harvest the grass and put it to good use after it's been harvested.....In D.C. you have to pay a company like you would a lawn service to come and cut your grass on the water. The grass is then turned in fertilizer and sold for even more profit .

As far as the land owners not using the lake.....I said MOST of them do not, not all of them. That is seen by the number of empty docks year round, the boats at the dock's that are never uncovered, the number of homes on the lake that you never see any of them on their dock or their land around the water.

As far as the lap dog is concerned. Sorry that remark came from a women back in Downeny's cove, who told me that I could not fish in front of her property. Because her dog would jump into the water and try to get my lure...lol...

All I was saying is that you don't KNOW these folks, and have no idea about their attitude towards this issue. You're making an assumption. You "might" be right, and you might not. Venting frustrations is fine, but to direct your frustration towards folks that you don't even know doesn't help your cause.

Didn't Paul Nichols come up with some kind of mower several years ago that he made by modifying a trolling motor?

Actually, I came up with my screen name when I was browsing at Bass Boat Central in the Tennessee Club section and saw that used. I don't know who the guy is.

Hippi97-----I don't know who Steve or Hairjig is.....but you are CORRECT about one thing......I just looked this afternoon at 488.5 profile to see if I might have known who he was when I made my post.....The name Steve was on the profile then.......Now just a few hours later your CORRECT , the name is gone on the profile.......Also...I'm know computer whiz by far...but if you change servers doesn't that change your I.P. address, or if you change computers....Not sure just asking...</p>

I did ask Hair Jig on the BBC If he was a member of the CFF awhile back and he said " Hair Jig is not a member of the CFF " I replied back that he was right Hair Jig is not a member but 488.5 is and never got a reply.. What got me was your rant about working hard and saving money like you were Dave F'ing Ramsey. Like you said Sir, you don't know who you are insulting. There are hard working people on here from doctors, lawyers, teachers, factory workers, veterans, etc. I myself wanted to be a fire watcher but I was unqualified...lol.

If you 488.5 are not actually HJ then you just came off the wrong way and it's not a big deal, we all do that from time to time, but on the other hand you are Hair Jig....well your just a sad individual. I understand TVA is an easy target to place blame based on past actions. However, the energy should be pointed directly at the Tennessee Department of Agriculture who regulates aquatic herbicides in the river. If you do not believe me that TVA has not paid for spraying beginning in 2012 call them and ask. I'm surprised at your response of bringing TVA into the fray based on your efforts last year of placing mats at the CF boat docks and your attendance (as well as mine) at the aquatic herbicide meetings held last year.

I know you are passonate about this issue, so am I. Lets focus our efforts on the facts and not let trouble makers bring us down to their level. If certain people want to live with closed minds and heresay so be it.
