I know that baylor creek i was just hoping you werent going to say that was the one...It's very illegal to fish inside the bridge there hence the no tresspassing signs. I've been told by tva and the police that if your caught in there they will prosecute. So be careful next time your sneaking in there...

Do you mean Baylor Lake? Its o.k. to fish in there. Man I cant imagine that hog coming from the creek, especially past the bridge.

A LITTLE BETTER PIC

WELL YOU KNOW,,, YOUD THINK IF YOU BUY THE FISHING LICENSE AND DIDNT GET ONTO LAND THAT IT WOULD BE LEGAL TO FISH THE WATERWAYS:( :( emoScratch

Someone let me know on this, if you are not on the land like BIG L said, is it illegal. Once you go under the bridge, does Baylor own the water? I have been way back in that creek until it gets too shallow for a boat. I have also caught some good fish in there in the fall, but not that good.

That is a nice fish ... I imagine it should be added to the Hall of Fame! I have no idea where you caught it at as I'm not at all familar with that location ...

Fish like that are hard to come by!

:)

TT

Hey nice fish it has been a while since I have caught a 6 pounder. When did you catch her, and did you catch any more?

Did you release it?

Theres no brick walls in baylor like that so it wasnt released in same area as caught..

I'm waiting on the info to be sent to me again since i cant find the original one that was sent to me in regards to fishing baylor lake. It is legal to fish anywheres on the water as long as you dont get on the land however in baylors case some idiot old men was shooting the ducks in there and a chattanooga judge ruled it off limits to anyone going in there on boat or otherwise. I will post it as soon as i get it back from the tva watershed office..

I have been told NUMEROUS times by TWRA that ANY creek or tributary that is accessable by boat from the main lake or river is legal to fish on. As long as you do not trespass on the land. Baylor may think they own the water and tell everyone they do but I don't think that is the case. I know there are restricted areas, like close to the dam and so on that illegal to venture into but a creek should have no such limits.
