Well I guess I should have clarified 3m-5200 silicone. thats what I was talking about . .. but any silicone, no mater the brand is better than none ..
I just thought of something, When installing Battery boxes , the lil brackets the webbing goes through to hold the batteries down, use a stud finder to find the stringers so you don't put a hole in a stringer and let moister get in it will save you a bundle in the long run.
Another thing why did bass boat makers quit putting air vents in the back left and right to allow air flow though the gas and battery compartment, prob would have gone along way in slowing the rot in this one.
I do believe Im gonna ad some ventilation on mine b4 its all said and done.

If you need a couple of those sculpers that go on the back for air flow holler out I have a couple that ain't doing anything and you can have them.

Thanks but I'm gonna make custom ones here is a pic of what I'm gonna make at the shop out of stainless steel sheet metal scrap, hopefully I will have the finished product to show all in a week or so .. and will post it here
