Give your worries to the LORD, and he will take care of you.

Psalm 55:22

Worries are a major problem in most folk's lives, and worry can cause many major health problems. God knew this all along and gave us His perfect answer to handling our worries . . . . give them to Him! No matter how many or how big, get in prayer right now and give your worries to God . . . . He will take care of you!

Proverbs 3:5-6 (New International Version)

5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;

6 in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight.

"A family that is divided cannot continue."

Mark 3:25

One of my major goals has always been to promote family fishing. For the most part, if dad is involving mom and the kids in his fishing activities, that family will grow closer. So many positive things will happen while spending this time together. Obviously, we are passing on our skills. We also get into solving problems together, figuruing out how to catch fish, and sharing what God has created for us to enjoy. If you are not fishing with your family, you're missing a fantastic opportunity. Nothing--not tournaments, not fishing with your buddies--nothing is more important than the family God gave you. Take your family fishing the first chance you get.

GOD'S STRANGE WORK

The wrath of God is being revealed from Heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God made it plain to them. Romans 1:18-19

GOD'S WRATH IS NECESSARY BECAUSE OF SIN

. . . .against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness.

GOD'S WRATH IS PASSIVE

Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. Romans 1:24

Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Romans 1:26

Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done. Romans 1:28

The people of Israel are under the spells of idols. Let them go their own way. Hosea 4:17

I will forsake my house, abandon my inheritance; I will give the one I love into the hands of her enemies. Jeremiah 12:7

GOD'S WRATH IS PASSIONATE

GOD'S WRATH IS REPENTANCE

But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger. Romans 2:8

*C.S. Lewis once said that there were two kinds of people: Those who say to God, your will be done.
And those to whom God finally must say, your will be done.

We are objects of His wrath because we are objects of His love.

My son, do not despise the LORD's discipline and do not resent his rebuke, because the LORD disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in. Proverbs 3:11-12

They were all filled with the Holy Spirit.

Acts 2:4

When we are saved and place our complete trust in Jesus, God places in us His Holy Spirit. This Spirit of God noticeably changes the way we act, the way we talk, the way we see others, and even the way we think. All of this is for the better and for our good. God's own Spirit, living individually in each of us . . . . WOW!

So the Great Spirit that the American Indian believed in does not matter in Your eyes?
Kill the Savage!! I think you guys missed the whole point. Millions of people were killed because of what they did or did not think, believe in, know or understand.
You can't pick & choose...Reincarnation? believe it! it says so in the Bible.
To quote is to think that the quote does you good in your heart, you need to speak your own words, to think your own thoughts, believe in yourself and respect others for what they believe, even though it may not go along with you or the main stream way of thinking. "Some men know only what they are taught,
not what they have learned..eyeman2"
To seek and find more light, is a gift from the third eye.
You give me a self taught quote, I had rather hear one that you have learned. I have read the books of the Bible, what about the ones that were left out by Consantine. I've heard they were just more of the same. I am a seeker and question authority, always have.
Scripture carved in stone ( on the side of a mountain) has just been deciphered by a Brit. It preceeds Genisis by 1-2 thousand years, (carbon dated), yet tells the same story as Genisis.
Please don't think I'm against anything you believe or say, just look deeper & you may be happier than you could ever imagine, spirit, mind & soul.
" It's not like they teach you in Sunday school & church, no streets paved with gold, but it sure is a pretty place."
a quote from my Mother, several months after she had passed over to the other side, in other words, after she died.

Patient people have great understanding.

Proverbs 14:29

"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

John 14:6

Genesis 2, chapter 2:6
a mist went Up from the earth and watered the whole face of the ground.

It had NEVER rained on Earth before.

Genesis 4:22 should explain the rest of the Bible.

Every good promise that the LORD has made has come true and in the same way his other promises will come true.

Joshua 23:15

Jesus stood up and said to the waves "Quiet! Be still!" Then the wind stopped, and it became completely calm.

Mark 4:39

Think about the Jesus you believe in. He can calm a raging sea and calm the waves. How much more can He calm the daily storms we face? This is a God so powerful He can take the fury out of any situation we face. Place your full trust in Him today.

The weakness of God is stronger than human strength.

1 Corinthians 1:25

How strong is your biggest weakness in life, and how does it control you? Is it money, sex, popularity, power, or something else, and is it ruining your life? If it is, identify the weakness and trade it to God for His power. It's amazing what He can do if you will only let Him. Let God's power be your ruler and your strength.

You should not stay away from the church meetings, as some are doing, but you should meet togetther and encourage each other.

Hebrews 10:25

"No one has ever given [God] anything that [He] must pay back."

Job 41:11

We mentally expect to get what we want and receive His blessings in abundance. After all, we tithe, we teach, we attend, we witness, we support . . . Doesn't God owe us something in return? Not at all. Everything we have, including our money, time, and talents, are already gifts from God's love. What we choose to give back to Him must be from our love to Him!
